We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant manager for an international automotive manufacturer. The position will cover operations management, with a strong focus on Production, HSE, Shipping, Maintenance and Facilities.
This role is crucial in enhancing operational efficiency and instilling a mindset of unity and collaboration among the employees. Another important vector is to ensure improvement of welding and fabrication processes and fostering a culture that embraces continuous improvement.

Your new role
- To plan, organize, manage and control the company's work in accordance with the company's strategy, mission and goals;
- To ensure successful management and further development of the company;
- To ensure improvement of manufacturing processes;
- Preparation of reports on the company's performance for the regional management.
- Lead and manage daily production operations, ensuring customer delivery schedules and quality requirements are adhered to, resources are optimized to reduce operational costs and overall business KPIs are achieved.
- Create and develop a high performing team, provide guidance, resolve daily issues, and ensure direct team accountability with agreed company goals.
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
- Lead initiatives to modernize and automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Drive continuous improvement within all areas of the plant operations and facilities to reduce cost, increase output and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Identify and deliver strategic initiatives and projects to continuously improve the efficiency of manufacturing operations.
- Lead efficiency and productivity improvement within all functions of the Operations plant including logistics, production, facilities and HSE.
- Actively monitor and troubleshoot production processes to ensure operational continuity, intervening where necessary to resolve issues on the factory floor.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a production company, number of employees over 100 min.;
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies;
Experience working in the Czech Republic or Central Europe, with a strong understanding of local labor laws and regulatory requirements;
Experience of being managed remotely as part of a multi-national organization (as an advantage);
Working experience in leadership position with automotive and/or aerospace industry clients;
Ability to successfully lead through change, develop and motivate a team;
Strong leadership and entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to achieve results, initiative, energy and ability to grow organization;
Excellent analytical, communication and decision-making skills;
Excellent Czech and English language skills.
