We are seeking an experienced and visionary Operations Director to lead a manufacturing company specializing in industrial machinery manufacturing. The position will cover full-fledged operations management, with a strong focus on production, quality, supply chain (logistics and purchasing), and technical departments. You will drive transformative change, optimize operational efficiency, and report directly to the regional management.

Your new role

  • Oversee all operational functions, including production, quality assurance, supply chain management, maintenance and technical/engineering processes.
  • Lead change management initiatives to restructure operations for enhanced efficiency and performance.
  • Manage full responsibility for CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety across all departments.
  • Collaborate with technical team to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure supply chain efficiency by managing logistics and purchasing operations, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the regional management on operational performance, strategic initiatives, and areas for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Management, or High school education with 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing sector or in a closely related position such as Production Director
  • Proven experience in change management, process optimization, and team leadership.
  • Excellent financial acumen regarding CAPEX and OPEX management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Czech and English language skills.
