Your new role

• Work in collaboration with international teams to set profitability targets for the project and ensure follow-up
• Cost reduction activity for mass production
• In Request for Quotation phase, take part in defining commercial offers
• Estimating the cost of a new system following customer specifications
• Build Business Plan with payback for the investments for the project – compare different scenarios
• Negotiate the action plan and find an agreement with stakeholders
• Guide, convince, raise awareness of the project team about the profitability
• Participate in benchmarks to contribute to continuous improvement of the company
• Give budget advisory support to all departments
• Preparation of reports for different levels of management

What you'll need to succeed

• Technical university degree (mechanical or electrical engineering an advantage)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position or 5 years in project management / design / process eng. / purchasing / sales
• Experience with controlling / product costing is an advantage
• Advanced communication skills in English and Czech
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Ability to create and update Excel documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of SAP (an advantage)
