AP Accountant

Your new role

As an AP Accountant, you will be responsible for controlling and administering account payables. Your main tasks will include:

Processing AP invoices and attachments from vendors in the local system CBS, assigning them to the correct PIC from the customer service department.
Matching AP invoices in CBS, checking JOs in the Shipping System, and LCs in order to bill edit on CBS.
Communicating overdue, claimed, and disputed invoices with the customer service department and vendors.
Answering and sending emails.
Posting bank statements.
Sending completed JO and MIX invoices to HQ twice a week.
Preparing LC/JO and MIX invoices weekly payment plan for CBS and SAP.
Preparing and sending payment details to vendors.
Sending outstanding requests to vendors and reconciling vendor items.
Revising unbilled items.
Checking the list of open items from vendors according to due dates and requesting missing invoices.
Participating in monthly vendor invoices meetings.
Processing Transporeon and other special invoices, including bonuses documents (creation of BL).

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication skills to interact professionally and effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendors. English level B2.
  • Ensure timely payments.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and understanding of accounts receivable processes.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AP Accounting.
