GL, French, General ledger, Accountant, Brno, SAP, SSC
For our client - a global supplier of scientific instruments, we are currently looking for a GL Accountant with French.
Your responsibilities:
Handle invoice accounting, stock transactions, bank transactions, internal documents and various other accounting tasks;
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to company policies;
Collaborate with the local team in France for accurate accounting transactions;
Salaries and other personnel costs based on the documents provided by the external accounting and tax office;
Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax requirements with the external accounting and tax office;
Ensure compliance with internal control processes and support audit activities;
Participate in process improvements within the new Shared Service Centre.
What you will need to succeed:
Experience in a comparable accounting role, preferably within an international company or Shared Service Centre;
Proficiency in French and English languages;
Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations (experience with French standards is an advantage);
Good knowledge of MS Excel;
Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
