As a MapR/Hadoop consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Assist in maintaining and running operations for the MapR flavor of the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Create automation pipelines and manage package upgrade deployments.
• Provide support for Use Case user support tickets.
• Troubleshoot OPS issues and correct configurations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation every 3 weeks.

Your Work Result will be:

• Ensure successful uptime and availability of the Corp Data Lake Hadoop Service.
• Smoothly upgraded ecosystem packages and deployments.
• Efficiently closed support tickets with TRT.
• Tracked and corrected OPS issues.

• Knowledge of Hadoop vanilla.
• Experience with Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Git and GitOps.

• Experience with Hadoop MapR.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, Cloud (GCP).
