Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced IT SAP Basis Expert to join their dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in the implementation and ongoing development of the client's global SAP S/4HANA system. As a key member of the global team, the successful candidate will be responsible for SAP Basis topics, including coordinating rollout activities across various sites and regions.

Key Responsibilities:
• SAP Basis Operations and Development: The expert will oversee SAP Basis operations and the Solman solution, driving its development and optimization. This includes managing the development, maintenance, and rollout of functionalities and interfaces.
• ERP Architecture Evolution: The role involves guiding the development of a cutting-edge ERP architecture based on new technologies and trends, requiring strong alignment across various projects and programs.
• Upgrade and Patching Management: The expert will coordinate and drive all necessary upgrade and patching activities, collaborating with solution suppliers and consulting partners.
• Interface Management: Defining, creating, and maintaining software interfaces to other applications, ensuring their availability and optimal performance.
• Concept Validation: Verifying and validating technical concepts and specifications against requirements and established standards.
• Knowledge Sharing: Actively participating in knowledge exchange with other experts and organizing know-how transfer within the global organization.

Required Skills and Experience:
• A completed degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Extensive experience in SAP Basis operations, ideally within an S/4HANA environment, and in software development.
• Approximately 5 years of successful experience working as an SAP Basis expert in a global team setting.
• Advanced knowledge of modern software development approaches, state-of-the-art interfaces, and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design technical realization concepts based on emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively in international teams, demonstrating intercultural openness.
• High-level proficiency in English.
