Your new role

• Oversee procurement and disposition of supplies and consumables;
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies through effective negotiations and supplier optimisation;
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions;
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and optimise working capital;
• Manage cash planning and inventory for procurement portfolios;
• Monitor market conditions and trends for informed sourcing decisions;
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships, evaluating and selecting new suppliers;
• Maintain and update condition and item master data in SAP.

What you'll need to succeed

• You have professional experience in project purchasing, ideally in the consumer goods industry, and have proven your expertise in purchasing;
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken, and knowledge of the German language is an advantage;
• Experience with SAP MM and MS Office;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
