Your new role
We are looking for a keen sustainability believer who has extensive experience in the technical aspects of commercial buildings and their energy systems. Your main scope of work shall entail EPCs, energy audits and assessments, LCAs and energy efficiency feasibility studies, possibly also their implementation. You might be involved in the procurement of renewable energy and will also present your ideas in pitches and industry presentations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience with commercial building systems, energy management, HVAC, etc.
- Current or potential to obtain a licence as an energy specialist as per Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade requirements (the company is willing to sponsor your exams to obtain the permit)
- Experience conducting energy audits and other building performance assessments and recommending energy efficiency improvements.
- Understanding the current EU legislative landscape regarding energy and sustainability and willingness to keep up with the changes.
- Experience providing technical services as part of or for BREEAM, LEED, and WELL certifications.
- Prior experience managing a team, and liaising with subcontractors, and stakeholders in sustainability projects.
- Working proficiency in both Czech and English
- Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and data and generate actionable insights for improving building performance.
- Effective communication with clients for data collection, guiding them through project delivery, addressing feedback, and presenting final deliverables.
- The ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and evolving business needs.
- Commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in energy systems and sustainability.
