Cognos Maintenance Engineer

For our client in Prague, we're seeking a Maintenance Engineer of Cognos who will support two projects.


About the 1st project - DWH Paket DE:
Our team is in charge of the data warehouse for parcels in Germany. We are working in a Teradata instance and are using WhereScape as a scheduling technology. Our team is set up in 2 different locations (Germany and Czech Republic) We need help with our daily maintenance of our applications. This includes Cognos administration, user administration and application support on a variety of different applications.
About the 2nd project - BIC:
Historically grown big data application. More than 10.000 active users. Business intelligence applications (ETL, data management, reporting).
Platform consists of (non) productive application, database and integration servers. The Data Warehouse consists of an Oracle DB, Informatica and individually developed applications. For reporting purposes Tableau and Cognos are available as well as individually developed web applications (Java, JSP, Weblogic, etc.)

What you'll need:
  • 2-4 Year Experience
  • Min. Cognos Analytics 11.2
  • Cognos Administration - Admin Console
  • Dynamic Cubes Administration
  • Scheduling / Monitoring of Activities
  • Report Studio / Development
  • Framework Manager
  • Data Module
  • Setting of Roles and Rights
  • B2+ English
  • German is an advantage
