Sales Manager
located in Czechia. Together with the Country Head and the Marketing Manager you will develop and implement the sales strategy for the introduction of OTC medicines to the Czech and Slovak markets. You will play a key role in overseeing and managing the field force team.
Your tasks
Develop and implement strategic plans for the field force, including sales, market share and distribution targets, territory management and promotional activities
Monitor and assess the performance of the field force team, setting performance targets, conducting regular evaluations (monthly, quarterly, annually) and providing constructive feedback
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential challenges for the company
Use data analysis (regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics) to identify areas for improvement and inform decision makers
Participate in the recruitment and selection of field force employees, fostering a positive team culture and promoting teamwork and collaboration
Coordinate training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the field force, ensuring that they are equipped to effectively promote and sell phytopharmaceutical products
Manage the budget allocated for field force activities, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources for maximum impact
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, medical and regulatory affairs to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach regarding product promotion
Ensure that all activities of the field force comply with industry regulations, company policies and ethical standards
Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance company’s image and facilitate business growth
Your profile
You have a higher business management education; additional medical or scientific education would be an asset.
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the Czech (or Slovak) Pharma Market, in a similar role, preferably with sales of OTC products
Thanks to your experience in a customer-facing role, you have very good knowledge of pharmacies’ landscape and contacts to responsible decision makers
You are a native Czech (or Slovak) speaker, working smoothly in the international business environment with very good verbal and written communication skills in English
