Your new role

You would be responsible for sustainable and profitable growth of the client's products, services, and solutions in the designated region. You would spend 60-70% of your time in the assigned territory, combining technical knowledge with sales skills to understand and respond to customer needs. You must be a trusted partner for customers in fluid system solutions, providing reliable solutions to technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the business model.

Collaboration with:
  • Sales Manager: Discussing potential customers and opportunities, defining next steps to close deals.
  • Customer Service and Supply Chain: Gathering and sharing customer requirements to support the business model.
  • Technical Services and Solutions: Growing sales of solutions, training, and services.
  • Finance: Achieving profitability and ensuring healthy cash flow.

New Business Growth:
  • Utilizing social media, websites, intranet, and industry publications to identify potential opportunities. Participating in industry events for networking. Reaching out to potential customers through cold calls, customer service, internal sales, or other channels.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities or significant growth areas (e.g., oil, gas, chemicals, clean energy, semiconductors, local construction, local market) and obtaining customer specifications or contracts for current and future projects. Coordinating activities with relevant stakeholders to ensure ongoing success of projects and relationships.

Account/Solution Management Responsibilities:
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships with new and existing accounts by understanding customer needs and providing excellent service. Increasing penetration into the most valuable accounts.
  • Promoting company capabilities to expand the overall offering to customers.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis and needs analysis for existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Identifying individual roles on the customer side, focusing on decision-makers, influencers, and coaches.


What you'll need to succeed

A technical university degree and/or two to three years of sales experience in a professional environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.

  • Strong engineering skills.
  • Sales experience.
  • Previous experience with fluid systems and/or in the industry.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly connect with customers and effectively seek and convey information.
  • Goal-oriented, strong work ethic, and ability to follow through:
    • Ability to work independently and with the team in the Czech Republic and also with teams in Europe.
  • Discipline in setting and meeting own schedule.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM software related to the business model.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
