Your new company

We are looking for a Production Planner for one of the world's leaders, which is known for the complete outfitting and furnishing of commercial spaces, its production and design. This company has more than 4,500 team members worldwide and continues to develop its operations in the Czech Republic.

Your new role

Production Planners are fully responsible for production planning based on demand, forecasting, stock control and reporting related to assigned projects. Based on forecasts and usage analysis, they are able to recommend an optimal production volume to keep the production most efficient and warehouse stock as low as possible, while still having enough stock to satisfy customer needs. We expect Production Planners to have the following skills and qualities:

- Understanding of the bigger picture for the company
- Ability to cooperate with various roles (Business Owners, Production Coordinators, Logistics and Distribution Centre)

What you'll need to succeed

- Planning Coordination: Production Planners work closely with the business team to create demand, material, and resource plans based on system data.
- Communication Hub: They act as a bridge, facilitating communication between the Business and Production departments.
- Reporting Responsibilities: They generate both periodic and ad-hoc reports on stock value, movement, and perform data analysis.
- Usage Monitoring: They regularly calculate average item usage and update relevant records accordingly.
- Proposal Preparation: Production Planners use Inventory Management, Forecasting, and Consumption Analysis to prepare new production proposals.
- Inventory Oversight: They monitor inventory status and update the ERP system to optimise project flow.
- Forecast Consolidation: These planners consolidate forecasted projects to develop batch production proposals based on usage patterns.
- Stock Tracking: They closely monitor stock value and movement, updating warehouse teams on Roll-Out projects.
- Compliance Assurance: Production Planners ensure all team members adhere to standard project flow and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

- 2+ years of relevant experience in production planning, inventory control, project coordination, or related fields
- Familiarity with logistics operations, especially in fast-paced industries like automotive, tech, or consumer goods
- Understanding of warehouse management best practices and process improvement
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and execute on multiple priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through on all tasks
- Strong in the logic of ERP system, the professional level of MS Excel is a must
